Innobay Group is a B2B digital marketing agency that specializes in web applications and mobile applications for Small-to-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and local entities across industries such as Banking & Finance, Engineering, Real Estate, to Government-Linked Companies and Government Agencies. Innobay Group engaged Saigon Technology in early 2018 with a vision of building a survey platform for businesses and their members.

Challenges

Complex business model.

The design (made by the customer) does not adapt to mobile UI best practices.

The process mainly works between multi-platforms and different services.

The product manager signs off on the customer side. We have to work directly with the Product Owner, who is not a technical person.

Differences between testing and live environment sometimes cause unexpected issues in the system.

Solutions

Discuss and clarify the requirements as much as possible before starting the development or performing the update.

Think like a non-technical user, and base design on their feedback.

The experienced designer will build a suggested wireframe after having an understanding of the user’s needs.

Testers will focus more on writing test scenarios to minimize the chance of issues occurred.
